Exciting Changes for Trinity County Crime Stoppers

After several months of work, Trinity County Crime Stoppers has become a member of Deep East Texas Crime Stoppers.  This group is an aggregate of local Crime Stoppers organizations around East Texas.  It will allow Trinity County Crime Stoppers to make better use of local media, as well as media outside of Trinity, to disseminate information about crimes in our area, including the use of KTRE in Lufkin.  Any tips called in will still be taken outside of Trinity, with the relevant information provided to local law enforcement for their action.  For the time being, you can still use Trinity County Crime Stoppers TipLine number, 936-639-8477, but tips can also be called in to the TipLine for Deep East Texas Crime Stoppers, 936-639-TIPS.  Here is the link to the Deep East Texas Crime Stoppers' website: http://www.detcs.tips. 

 


Recovery Awards for Trinity County Crime Stoppers

Trinity County Crime Stopper has received awards 2 years in a row for Productivity Award - Greatest Dollar Recovery  for Population less than 15,000.  All of which could not be done without the due diligence of the extraordinary efforts of the citizens of Trinity County, Texas.

Spending time with our Community
December 13, 2024

Our Crime Stoppers board members spent time putting together bags of fruit and candy for the nursing homes in our community, 2 in Trinity and 1 in Groveton.  We also made baskets for the staff at the nursing homes, Trinity County Law Enforcement, and Trinity County Fire Department.  Sharing Christmas with them is rewarding.

Trinity County Crime Stoppers visiting River Pointe of Trinity Healthcare & Rehabilitation

Trinity County Crime Stoppers visited River Pointe of Trinity Healthcare & Rehabilitation at 1410 S. Robb St., Trinity, TX to deliver some Christmas Goodies and have the Grinch visit with some of the staff and residents. It feels good to bring smiles to people during Christmas time and share the spirit. (Per policy, the residents faces have been blurred out)
